What is Ozone Therapy?
Ozone (O3) is a gas that surrounds the Earth and shields us from the sun's harmful UV radiation. However, its therapeutic advantages extend well beyond its role as a natural "sunscreen". While inhalation of ozone poses risks to humans and animals due to its toxicity, it provides significant benefits when administered intravenously, through rectal or vaginal insufflation (absorption by internal tissues), via the ear canal, injection into joints, or topical application to the skin.
