Each building block is taught in an easy to follow sequence. The bones, joints, connective tissue, muscles, conformation, movement, and discipline are thoroughly discussed. You will learn each of the superficial muscles and how they are involved in movement. You will color and feel each one on a live horse when you practice.
Getting to know each horse's body will guide you to a whole new aspect of horsmanship that you have never before experienced! The text for the program is The Horse Anatomy Coloring Atlas, by Robert Kainer D.V.M., and Thomas McCracken M.S., Medical Illustrator. The text is included in the program along with the course syllabus, a workbook, and a video containing valuable lecture and demonstration material. This module comes with an exam that must be completed before moving on to the Certification Module.
Module 2 - Certification
This module takes you into a more precise training. The detailed instructions will take the therapist into the underlying physical structures for a clearer understanding of movement and function. Each section is followed by an objective assignment. There are 10 assignments in all. This module covers the following topics;
